Alongside the weight loss and striking new exterior and interior design, Porsche squeezed an additional 15 hp from the The new 2011 Porsche Cayenne S’s naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V-8. A brandnew transmission with two more forward ratios—there are eight now—helps to achieve EPA ratings of 16 mpg city and 22 highway. Although it works just fine by conventional-automatic standards, we feel spoiled by the PDK dual-clutch auto offered in the rest of Porsche’s range.

Nadat er al gelekte beelden op het internet circuleerden, heeft Mercedes nu officieel zijn De Nieuwe C63 AMG Black Series voorgesteld. Het is wachten tot volgende lente om Mercedes’ krachtigste C-klasse in de showrooms te aanschouwen. Maar hier zijn alvast de details en de foto’s…

De De Nieuwe C63 AMG Black Series komt met een 6.3l V8, goed voor 517 pk en 620 Nm, mede dankzij de sterkere zuigers, lichtere drijfstangen en de lichtere drijfstang. Hieraan is een zeventraps AMG Speedshift automaat gekoppeld, een versnellingsbak met vier schakelprogramma’s en een race-startfunctie.Dankzij dit alles zit de  Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series aan 100 km/u in 4,2 seconden.

Good news for the super luxury automobile aficionados! A German newspaper has quoted Porsche CEO Matthias Mueller as saying that the automaker has plan to revive its new 550 Spyder.

Met grote trots hebben de organisatoren van Bavaria City Racing op 8 juli officieel aangekondigd dat Banco Santander het Formula 1 team Scuderia Ferrari naar de zevende editie van het race evenement brengt. Santander, in Nederland actief als Santander Consumer Finance heeft geholpen om dit jaar de sterkste deelname in de geschiedenis van het evenement te realiseren. Met de deelname van Scuderia Ferrari dit jaar, op zondag 21 augustus, zal het een historische editie worden. Voor de eerste keer zal de zestienvoudig wereldkampioen Scuderia Ferrari aanwezig zijn in de havenstad.

In samenwerking met EuroNCAP worden regelmatig botsproeven uitgevoerd met voertuigen. veilige voertuigen kunnen op vier onderdelen een beoordeling krijgen. De onderdelen zijn veiligheid van de inzittenden, voetgangersbescherming, kindveiligheid en veiligheidssystemen. Drie sterren is matig, vijf sterren is super veilig.
